The following terms and conditions deals with all trade between you and Cash Your Gold.

Cash Your Gold fulfills all requirements in accordance with federal laws regarding the declaration of the sale of precious metals and the purchase of jewelry. Any objects you send Cash Your Gold should be packed in accordance with the rules you find under "Postal Item" and should be sent as recommended/registered mail.

When you choose to use your own packaging, you should insure your goods either at the post office or at another company you chose to send your package with.
If the package is lost or stolen before it reached us, be sure to file a complaint at the post office or the company who transported your goods.

Under no circumstances can Cash Your Gold be held responsibility for the shipment, in case of a lost package or late delivery.
Cash Your Gold reserves the right to refuse to accept any package that is damaged or opened. If this is the case, the package will be sent back and Cash Your Gold disclaims any responsibility. However, if your package is accepted, then all your goods will be under Cash Your Gold's responsibility and will be checked as following :
- When opening the package, photography and/or scanning will be done.
- A quality and weight check will be done to ensure that it is indeed precious metals.
- If you have accompanied a certificate of authenticity, we may contact the exporter of the certificate to verify its authenticity.

You agree not to send packages containing any of the following substances : arsenic, beryllium, bismuth, cadmium, mercury, nickel, lead, antimoine, selenium, tin, tellurium or any other harmful substance.

Any legal action will be processed by the Swiss laws and even the legislative courts in Zurich. If you have any complaints about Cash Your Gold, you accept to cover all eventual costs (including legal fees) for Cash Your Gold's defense in this case.

You have read and accepted our conditions under Our Guarantee, which explains our ways of negotiating. See Our guarantee. You will understand that if these rules are not followed, it will complicate the processing of your products, and once we have taken your objects under our responsibility, they will not be returned.

Cash Your Gold does not buy imitation jewelry or jewelry without precious metals. Please note that items not containing any precious metals, will not be returned, unless you accept to pay the delivery fees. If you are not sure if your item contains gold, see How do I know if my jewelry is gold?

Cash Your Gold does not buy precious stones. If you are considering sending us an object with a gem, we recommend you remove the stone from the jewelry before you send it.

When we receive your package, the content will be valued, and your payment will be sent within 36 hours, depending on the content. The 36 hours does not include weekends and holidays. Products are shipped twice a month to our processors.

You promise Cash Your Gold:
- You are the owner of what you send and hold the rights to sell or pass those goods. Cash Your Gold has the right to request a certificate of authenticity and documents to prove that you are the rightful owner.
- That the goods are not owned by or resulting from illegal activities in any country.
- That you are at least 18 years or older.
- That you take full responsibility.

That you are not in any way holding Cash Your Gold responsible for any indulgence by you with regard to money laundering, terrorism, or any other illegal activity.

If you would not comply to these conditions :
You commit yourself to compensate and hold Cash Your Gold outside everything in terms of responsibilities, complaints, monitoring, losses, costs and legal fees, including inquiries regarding a third party. In addition, you promise to defend, protect, and compensate Cash Your Gold and its partners from any undesirable consequences.

These conditions may change. We recommend that you follow us regularly on our website and keep yourself updated in case any changes occur. In case of a change, we will clearly disclose the important changes on our website. Also, if you have chosen to not receive e-mails from us, we will send you an information e-mail to explain any important changes to our conditions.
